Ninendo's new console launch, codenamed NX, might replace the draining popularity of Wii U. However, the largest video game company does not want to unveil further as it is said to be in a draft mode.

Apparently, Nintendo did not say any official information and the 'NX' appears on its financial report, stating that the game maker is developing a gaming platform codenamed NX, with a brand new concept. As for the launch, it will be scheduled in March 2017.

The mysterious 'NX' announced unexpectedly through the financial report has created rumors, especially after CNN Money reported that Nintendo could be looking for 'Plan B' to replace the failed Wii U in the market.

Taking notes from an interview with the company chairman, Tatsumi Kimishima, it is absolutely different from the Wii or Wii U. He said that Nintendo is shifting away from the previous game consoles - claiming that this newly developed platform is unique. Kimishima revealed another feature of the new console, that is, more powerful in order to compete with Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's Playstation.

The financial report is likely to be the confirmation of Kimishima's statement on the development of codenamed 'NX'. With the so-called new concept, players are also curious on the new console as whether it would give better experience than the previous ones. However, Nintendo did inform the public to unlock more news at the E3.

The rumors that gone viral include NX with Android platform and NX to be a hybrid platform that can either be home console or handheld. Nintendo does not confirm or deny it as the company is focusing on the "Legend of Zelda" - which is also the attention at E3 conference along with Capcom's "Resident Evil 2 Remake."

Nintendo has also officially announced that the 'Legend of Zelda Wii U' release will in 2017 - a delay due to the game's further improvement on quality.
