"Star Wars Episode VIII" may still be an upcoming movie in 2017; but the fans are struggling hard to find a Lightsaber spark on the dark mystery. From "Star Wars" mystery role to Chewbacca's hanging out with a British Royal on set. Here's your "Star Wars Episode VIII" News Update!

The one clear thing the fans have been confirmed with, is that Rian Johnson will be directing the "Episode VIII." However, that's just the most satisfying thing that the fans can get since starfighter Oscar Isaac was not willing to give any information about the installment.

Being reached out for comment while promoting "X Men: Apocalypse," the actor said that Johnson did a great job in letting the viewers to explore scenes in a different way. The Times sat with co-writer Lawrence Kasdan in an interview and he opened up about Johnson as a person that's able to make 'some weird thing' that is not like any other Star Wars movies.

Isaac also shared his experience in joining the Johnson's force, praising how the lucky charm made the movie looks as if it's independent movie - exploring new characters including bringing Noah Segan to play a mystery role as reported by the Movie Web.

J.J Abrams also made a clarification about Rey's parents whom he said, are not in the "Force Awakens." He clarified his statement that it was actually 'both parents have not yet been discovered by Rey herself.

Meanwhile, the casts were excited to meet the British Royal family, Prince William and Prince Harry on set. The Duke of Cambridge and his brother were amazed by the work - trying out the lightsabers and having casual conversations with the team. Prince William is the BAFTA president - responsible for recognizing British creative talents in the production. Prince Harry who accompanied his brother, was seen receiving a hug from Chewbacca.
