‘Pokémon Go’ To Get Bigger And Better With The Addition Of Legendary Pokémon And Revamped Gyms [VIDEO]

By

Big things are rolling out to the "Pokémon Go" mobile game this summer, Niantic Labs wants to get players excited by teasing the arrival of the major updates the studio has been working on. The video game developer has already stated that the location-based augmented reality game is about to get bigger and better with the addition of the Legendary Pokémon and revamped gyms.

Niantic intends to make good with their promises in the "Pokémon Go" soon, when the game developer bagged five Webby awards earlier this week. The global product marketing lead Archit Bhargava accepted the awards on behalf of the studio. It's possible that Raids, PvP and other changes to Gyms and battles will be introduced as part of "Pokémon Go's" next big update, Express reported.

Several reports are claiming that players will finally enjoy a much better gym experience soon, with the studio expected to release an update specifically for this aspect of the "Pokémon Go" mobile game. In the current state of the game, there is not much to do in gyms, at least not ones that will keep "Pokémon Go" players active in it, but the game developer is about to change all that with the launching of raids to the fold.

"Pokemon Go" players are expecting that the next big update could happen this week. Many gamers based their expectations on the timing of the release of "Pokemon Go's" most recent major update, Gamerant reported.

The studio added a slew of Gen 2 Pokémon in the game in its latest huge update back in February. "Pokemon Go" fans believe that with the software development company releasing a quarterly major update for the mobile game, this month marks the roll out of the second one. Nevertheless, if summer is the season these "Pokemon Go" creatures will be available, fans should hear more about what the studio has in mind sooner rather than later.
