-   Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users rejoiced the firmware update as their smartphone can now taste the Nougat treat. S7 Active that uses AT&T carrier is reportedly getting the latest firmware as well. The update brings a few improvements in the UI along with security patch and bug fixes. Finally, Zenfone 3 gets Nougat after it's halted in January. The official rollout is for two models: ZE520KL and ZE552KL. -   Moto Z Play

Moto Z Play Droid edition is one of the flagships getting Android 7.0. It was initially rolled out for selected group before it went live.

Android 8 News, Update

Hiroshi Lockheimer has been teasing Android fans with 'Oreo' suggesting that it will be the name for Android 8. However, Lockheimer is probably not serious given the last year's Android N did not end up as Nutella.

Regardless of the naming, reports have pointed out Android 8 features including embedded maps in a message, Copy Less, and an integrated smart gesture, Toms' Guide reported.

Google is expected to launch Android O during Google I/O 2017 that falls on May 17. It's still too early to speculate the eligible devices but Pixel 2 will surely be getting the firmware.

Has your Android smartphone received Nougat update? What could possibly be the name of Google Android O?
