Samsung is highly likely to update three handsets in the Galaxy A series. The Samsung A7 2017 may soon arrive in India with the refreshed A5 and A3 variants.

The A series is the mid-range alternative of the Samsung Galaxy S models. Believed to debut any week from now, the Samsung A7 2017, A5, and A3 smartphones were announced at CES 2017 last month. For one thing, their 2016 predecessors launched almost a year ago and it is but time to update the Samsung Galaxy A segment.

Samsung A7 2017 full phone features

According to Tech 2, the much-loved Samsung A7 2017 boasts a 5.7" full HD Super AMOLED screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It runs an outstanding 1.9GHz eight-core processor. Moreover, the phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory capacity.

Per the same source, the new smartphone features LTE category 6 network speeds. In the camera department, the Samsung A7 2017 is reasonable at 16MP for both its rear shutter and selfie cam. Both cameras also sport the same f/1.9 aperture.

Well, the Samsung A7 2017 thrives with Bluetooth version 4.2, NFC, RGB Light Hall, and Fingerprint sensors. A 3,600mAh fast-charging battery complements the handset's USB Type-C port to complete the package. Dubbed as one of the hottest mid-range segments in the Indian market, the Samsung A7 2017 can compete with Lenovo and Xiaomi's flagship phones.

A5 and A3 Samsung devices: Price & availability

GSM Arena reported that no price and availability details have been announced regarding the updated Galaxy A series. Samsung A7 2017, though, is sure to arrive with its A5 and A3 cousins.

A smaller Galaxy A5 sports a 5.2" Full HD Super AMOLED display. It boasts the same 3GB Ram as the Samsung A7 2017 model. Meanwhile, a 3,000mAH battery runs the A5.

Now, the lightest of the three brand, the Galaxy A3 features a 4.7" HD display. Similar to the Samsung A7 2017, the A3 has the LTE category 6 network access too. Its other specifications include a 2GB of RAM, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and a 2,350mAh battery.

All three refreshed variants are powered by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For the record, the Samsung A7 2017, A5, and A3 are dust and waterproof devices. Reportedly, the retail prices of these handsets will play vital roles in the success of the new Galaxy A series.
