The Google Pixel 2 is said to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU, coupled with a 4GB of RAM. The same Qualcomm processor is likely to be packed in Samsung's upcoming flagship, Galaxy S8. If the Snapdragon 835 processor is included in the Pixel 2, then the chipset will be compatible with the Quick Charge 4.0, wherein the feature only requires 5 minutes of charging time for a battery life of 5 hours.

As stated by the president of DisplayMate, Dr. Raymond M. Soneira, the Galaxy S8, as well as the Google Pixel 2 will feature an OLED panel. Nonetheless, the OLED display panel of the smartphones won't all work in exactly the same way, Trusted Reviews reported.

Nevertheless, as the Google Pixel 2 is said to be the first smartphone to roll out with the Android 8.0 Nougat, while the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone is rumored to be powered by the Android Nougat 7.0 Nougat.
