Early leak suggests that Moto G5 will be unveiled at MWC 2017 but recent report has learned that the next-gen of Moto Z will likely make an appearance, too.

Moto G5 and G5 Plus: Specs, Price and Release Date

Bemol, Brazilian retailer, has listed Moto G5 series on its website with 5-inch display and Android Nougat pre-installed. Both, G5 and G5 Plus will have Snapdragon 625 chipset under the hood and 4 GB RAM on board.

Moto G5 is said to sport 3,000 mAh battery with Turbo Charge feature, according to BGR. The Plus model will carry a larger capacity, 3,100 mAh, and a bigger display of 5.5-inch. It's reported that these two features are the only differences between both handsets.

Moto G series has never gone above $200, according to PC Advisor. It is safe to argue that the G4 successor will have a price range between $149 and $199 given the upgrades it will receive.

Moto Z Next-Gen: Specs, Price and Release Date

The current Moto Z Play is reportedly being tested running on Android Nougat. It seems that the company moves quickly that tech crowds are speculating the next edition of Moto Z might be coming later this year.

An exciting report from Digital Trends suggests that the next Moto Z will rock an iris scanner and fingerprint reader mounted on its front panel.

Moto Z could be using a Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM as per GFXBench listing. If rumors are to true, a 4GB of RAM may not be a good pairing for the powerful 835 processor.

It's too early to discuss the timeframe of Moto Z next-gen launch but consumers can expect other new and interesting Moto devices at MWC 2017.
