‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7 Spoilers: Wren’s New Look; Why An Aria-Ezra Marriage Is Bad News

By

The final season of "Pretty Little Liars" will re-introduce faces from earlier seasons. One of the characters making a comeback is Wren, who left Rosewood in 2013.

Wren, portrayed by Julian Morris, looks unrecognizable in the new photos from "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7. The guy is now sporting a nearly shaved head and is hanging out with Spencer (Troian Bellisario). Another photo showed Spencer introducing Wren to Ezra (Ian Harding).

Wren and Spencer had a somewhat controversial relationship in Season 1 of "Pretty Little Liars." He kissed Spencer while he was engaged to her sister, Melissa (Torrey DeVitto).

Wren relocated to London after he left Rosewood. The show, however, still refers to him from time to time mainly to paint him as the main suspect for the terrible things happening in the town. It remains to be seen whether or not he really has a hand in that.

Expectations are rife about an Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra wedding in Season 7 of "Pretty Little Liars." An Instagram post from Harding in October may have hinted of the two's marriage, and creator Marlene King recently said that the show's couples "that are meant to be together will find their way back together," Variety reported.

Though this is good news for Aria and Ezra's fans, some are saying that the duo doesn't really belong together and a legal union is a just bad news for them. Glamour's Christopher Rosa pointed out that Aria and Ezra's relationship did not exactly begin with the right foot. When they first got together, Aria was just in high school and was a minor, with Ezra as her teacher.

Ezra also gained negative points in some "Pretty Little Liars" fans' hearts when he took advantage of the four underage girls' stories to write a book. In addition, the man tried to make Aria stay in Rosewood and kept her from a bright future in her chosen career.

The Nicole drama shouldn't be forgotten, too. Aria and Ezra got back together because he believed that Nicole (Rebecca Breeds) died, but it turns out she is alive and well. It appears that Ezra's still in love with Nicole and that can potentially jeopardize his marriage proposal to Aria.

"Pretty Little Liars" airs its seventh season on Tuesday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform. The final 10 episodes will feature a one-year time jump, Variety reported.
