"Tom Clancy's The Division" receives the update 1.6 where patch notes reveal details about upcoming expansion "The Last Stand." There will be new Dark Zone areas from 7 through 9 and a new feature, the Legendary Difficulty, the hardest in the game with smarter and more powerful enemies.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" got a major refresh when it received the 1.4 patch where thousands of agents were dispatched into the chaotic streets of New York City. Players and fans of the title are also eagerly anticipating the new expansion, "The Last Stand" DLC.

The newest 1.6 update on "Tom Clancy's The Division" featured patch notes reveal about the massive new changes coming to the game ahead of the expansion. Players can take advantage of the Public Test Server to learn about these new modifications.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.6 update brings new Dark Zone Areas 7 to 9, which are available for players with the appropriate level or gear. Ubisoft is now allowing players to quickly travel from one Dark Zone location to another instead of the nearest safe house.

The latest patch notes on "Tom Clancy's The Division" reveal new landmarks that will have a string of spawning opponents once the player decimates the initial NPC enemies. Once these landmarks are cleared, additional loots will be awarded straight to the inventory without the need for extraction.

There will also be contaminated areas in "Tom Clancy's The Division" where built-in filter will not fully offer protection. Players will have to learn how to manage health and ammunition supplies to defeat the unique Elite Cleaners NPCs that could spawn in contained areas in every hour or so, BrokenJoysticks has learned.

Moreover, the 1.6 update in "Tom Clancy's The Division" bring the Legendary Difficulty, the most challenging feature even for those who completed Heroic Incursions or mastered the base game. This new increased difficulty is initially playable in three specific missions, namely, the WarrenGate Power Plant, Times Square and Napalm Production Site.

Ubisoft is poised to deliver in "Tom Clancy's The Division" new enemies that are more powerful, smarter and more adept in utilizing advanced tactics. Players with their teams will have their hands full in fighting well equipped and skilled enemies.

There are more changes revealed in the 1.6 update patch notes of "Tom Clancy's The Division" like the Dark Zone modifications and gear set changes that could impact all characters across various levels. For more details, check out the official website of the game.
