By

TED Talk has a vast collection of interesting videos which focus on various topics from magic to quantum mechanics. If you are not interested in watching those popular and mainstream Christmas movies, you might opt for one of the best TED Talks in 2016.

You Have No Ideas Where Camels Came From

If you think you've figured out what stuff camels are really made of, you should watch this TED Talk by Latiff Nasser as he zaps those popular myths about camels. Here, he challenges his audience what if the camel actually evolved in another place and meant not as a desert animal.

Then he presented the amazing findings of Canadian paleobiologist Natalia Rybczynski who found a tibia of an unknown mammal in the Canadian arctic. When Dr. Rybczynski put a part of a bone under collagen testing, they found an amazing discovery that the fossil belonged to a camel. Find out more about it by clicking the title of the talk.

The Magic Ingredient that Brings Pixar Movies to Life

This TED talk is delivered by none other than Pixar's director of photography herself, Danielle Feinberg. She brings her audience deeper behind-the-scenes of Finding Nemo, Toy Story, and Wall-E making you think of them differently than you used to do. She discussed how they use science, math, and coding to bring them all to life.

Teach Girls Bravery, Not Perfection

Reshma Saujani is on a mission and that is to teach girls to be comfortable with their imperfections. This is also the same message she told her audience as she delves into how culture teachers boys to be brave and girls to be perfect. She then posed the argument that in order make society to progress, both boys and girls need to have the confidence to take risks.
