By

Good news for those who use Amazon Prime Now and want an NES Classic Edition, you may be able to grab your own NES Classic Edition right now. There is a catch, though - The offer stands only for selected cities nationwide.

Amazon Prime Now has an advantage over standard Amazon Prime, for the service offers a two-hour delivery for all NES Classic Edition orders free. Note however that the retro console is a "hot item" and buyers should be aware that they sell so fast, Polygon reported.

The full list of cities where the NES Classic Edition can be snagged is listed below, however, being in the city itself is not a guarantee, as we have already said, the item goes faster than a flash.

  • Washington, D.C.
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia
  • Richmond, Virginia
  • Baltimore, Maryland
  • Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Atlanta, Georgia

  • Tampa, Florida
  • Orlando, Florida

For those who do not know, Amazon has physical stores, according to Forbes. There are only three Amazon locations where you can go to get an NES Classic Edition. According to the ad, the locations are in University Village, Washington Square, and Westfield UTC.

The NES Classic Edition is without a doubt is one of the most sought items this holiday season because not only is it an excellent retro product but it is also very hard to find. It was originally rolled out on Nov. 11 and was reportedly sold out within minutes.

The demand online was as great as well that even Amazon's servers crashed. Not long afterward, people who were not lucky to grab one began ranting on social media, and a secondary market for the NES Classic Edition boomed on eBay with one unit reportedly sold for a high of $4,999, as reported earlier.

If getting an NES Classic Edition fails for you, another option would be to line up at Best Buy stores beginning on December 20th. Be early if you are intent on getting one.
