Motorola's Moto M Android smartphone rolled out in India for the price of Rs 15,999 or $237. The Motorola Moto M smartphone will be available exclusively in the e-commerce marketplace company, Flipkart.

Motorola's Moto M, the Android smartphone with a new all metal design and a fingerprint scanner on the back, has been officially launched. The Moto M Android smartphone comes in two variants, the 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, as well as the 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage.

As part of the Moto M's launch, when the smartphone gets available on Flipkart, tech fans will get exclusive offers. But, the offers are only valid until Dec. 15, Indian Express reported.

Moto M comes with a special exchange offer of up to Rs 2000 discount for an older smartphone, while users of Citibank credit card get Rs 1000 off. Also, Rs 1000 will be discounted on the Moto Pulse 2 Headset which will be up for grabs at Rs 499.

Moto M has a 16MP rear camera along with a Phase-Detection Autofocus (PDAF), as well as an 8MP front camera designed for selfies. The connectivity suite of Moto M includes Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS or A-GPS, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack and a 4G VoLTE (with support for Indian LTE bands).

The battery of Motorola Moto M Android smartphone is rated at 3050mAh and supports fast-charging. The Motorola Moto M weighs 163 grams and measures 151.35x75.35x7.85mm. Dolby Atmos support is also one of the key features of the new Motorola Moto M smartphone, according to Gadgets 360.

Furthermore, the Motorola Moto M Android smartphone runs Motorola's bare-bones Android 6.0 Marshmallow implementation. Nevertheless, the new Motorola handset somehow missed out on the dust and splash resistant features, which are found on other Motorola devices, Tech has learned.
