Nintendo News: Wii U eShop Adds 'Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon' & More! Miyamoto Discusses 'Super Mario Run' [VIDEO]

Fans and avid gamers of the acclaimed Japanese multinational consumer electronics and software company, Nintendo, will be delighted to hear the recent updates revolving around the developers acclaimed titles. It was reported that the Wii U eShop has recenlty added some iconic games to its listing, such as the "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" and more. In other news, renowned game creator Shigeru Miyamoto discusses the upcoming "Super Mario Run."

It was recently reported that Nintendo has recently added some of its older (but still highly-popular) games in its eShop listing, Warpzoned learned. It was stated therein that four games are being made available to fans via its online store.

The source took note on some of the games being added for the Nintendo 3DS, such as the re-release for "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," which includes the Amiibo feature. It was stated further that fans who bought the original "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," will also get the chance to access the Welcome Amiibo content as a free update.

As for the Wii U, Nintendo has added the iconic "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" to the eShop listing. The game was initially launched in 2009 for the Nintendo DS but has now been made available for download on the home console.

The eShop listing describes "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" as a retelling of the original game, which depicts the origins of the classic character Marth. Other titles recently added in the eShop list for the Wii U are "Metroid: Other M," "Teslapunk," and "Bridge Constructor Playground."

In other news, Shigeru Miyamoto discusses in an interview The Verge the upcoming mobile game "Super Mario Run" by Nintendo. In it, the renowned creator went on to express his hopes of having "Super Mario Run" as a game that would continue to introduce millions of people to video games, much like what the "Mario" franchise has done over the past years.

"Super Mario Run" is the upcoming mobile game developed by Nintendo for both the Android and iOS devices. It is a side-scrolling, auto-runner platformer video game on the acclaimed "Super Mario" franchise. This will mark as Nintendo's first-party character feature in a mobile game.
