5 Reasons James Corden Will Be the Best Grammys Host

By

The Late Late Show host James Corden is slated to take over LL Cool J as the host of the 2017 Grammy Awards that will take place on Feb. 12 at the Staples Center. If there is still any doubt whether the host would do a good job, here are 5 reasons James Corden is the right man for the event.

1)     It's not his first hosting gig

According to E! Online, this is not the first time James Corden will be hosting a show as big as the Grammys as he also entertained fans as the host in the 2015 Tony Awards. Thanks to his charisma, the show became the ceremony's most watched episode in 15 years. He did everything from singing, dancing to giving an emotional tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting.

2)     He's friends with music's biggest names

James Coren's "Carpool Karaoke" segment in The Late Late Show has featured some of music's names. According to Billboard, among those who appeared in the show were Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and Elton John.

3)     He has undeniable charisma

If there is anybody who can hold an audience's attention for an entire night, it has to be James Corden. It may be hard to top LL Cool J's charm but Corden's smart personality will have music fans looking forward to the show.

4)     His segments are creative

His "Carpool Karaoke" segment on The Late Late Show has become so popular because of how creative the idea was. There were also other memorable creative skits on his show especially the time when James Corden and Tom Hanks tried to act out one of Hanks' movies.

5)     LL Cool J deserves a break

LL Cool J deserves to step away from the spotlight of being the Grammys host after he has hosted the show for five consecutive years. Right now, there is no better person to pass the torch to than James Corden.
