TWRP Rolls Out For OnePlus 3T, Android TV Box & 3 Other Handsets; Here’s How It’ll Make Difference

TWRP has reportedly rolled out on several devices including the Moto E, among others. The backup tool is also expected to restore flash ROMS and other files. Moreover, the TWRP custom recovery is also said to be included in the OnePlus 3T features.

It has been noted that the TWRP is a tool specifically catering Android enthusiasts. The TWRP is believed to allow Android users to create as well as to restore backups and flash ROMs, as well as other files. Moreover, TWRP has also been used prior to rooting access.

Latest reports claim that the TWRP has already rolled out on three different handsets as well as an Android TV device. It is said that the latter points to the NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV box. Moreover, the recently launched Moto E and both the Wileyfox Swift 2 and Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus are also getting the TWRP, Android Police reported.

It is said that the three handsets are among the numerous smartphones that are being modified. It is expected that the arrival on TWRP on the devices will be well-accepted. On the contrary, rooting Android TVs are said to be rare but the option was nevertheless added to the best Android TV for users, as desired.

In other news, a more recent handset is reportedly getting the TWRP custom recovery option as well. While the OnePlus 3T has already been hot in the rumor mill for replacing the OnePlus 3 in under six months, the device is also said to be getting TWRP as well. Note that the TWRP may open doors to flashable zips as well, Android Authority reported.

TWRP 3.0.2-0 is said to be the version running on numerous OnePlus 3T right now. Note that an unlocked bootloader is necessary pre-installation of the TWRP. It is expected that a full backup has been made prior to installation as the process is said to wipe out all data on the device.
