Apple's New MacBook Pro Ad Puts The Device On A Ride Through Mankind’s Greatest Discoveries And Inventions [VIDEO]

By

With Apple's new Touch Bar equipped MacBook Pro finally shipping, the tech company rolled out a new advertisement in its next-Gen notebook.

Apple's new ad for its Touch Bar equipped MacBook Pro is entitled Bulbs, wherein the commercial takes its viewers on a gripping trip back in time, as the ad showcased a steady stream of some of mankind's most important inventions throughout history. The MacBook Pro ad hit on the discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel, space travel, as well as the advanced robotics.

The ad, which apparently tackles on to place Apple's MacBook Pro's Touch Bar as a revolutionary new idea, in which the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar push the world forward, as well as a tool for all the future ideas, BGR reported

Anyway, the new MacBook Pro ad even managed to squeeze a toilet roll in the video, and the loads of exploding light bulbs all throughout the video are presumably symbolic of all the ideas that have helped shape the world through the ages, according to Digital Trends.

On the other hand, Apple's latest 13-inch MacBook Pro variants, both with and without Touch Bar, are both remarkably thin and light, and the device is basically designed to be very difficult to break down for repairs. The 13-inch MacBook Pro model seems to contribute to the notion of throwaway devices that are recycled rather than fixed when problems arise.

In spite of that, the latest 15-inch MacBook Pro's teardown could mostly be summarized by simply pointing that it's just like the 13-inch MacBook Pro model. The 15-inch and 13-inch MacBook Pros are essentially the same inside, with very few differences to note beyond the devices' different battery layout. One major difference is an extra touchpad controller to get onto the larger touchpad offered on the 15-inch Pro, Apple Insider has learned.
