The competition between Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio and Sony's PS4 Pro in the gaming world rages on, as Microsoft compares its upcoming gaming system to a thousand of dollars worth of high-end PC.

With the PlayStation 4 Pro, which launched on Nov. 10 and sells for $400, recently fired up the gaming industry with a largely positive review. While the Redmond based tech giant has been hyping the Xbox Scorpio ahead of its release in 2017. Without revealing the full specs of Xbox Scorpio, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg described the gaming system as the most powerful console ever made to date.

Greenberg made it known that Xbox Scorpio will come along with the really true 4K gaming experience, a truly incredible visual game that people have never seen before on the console. Greenberg added that as for gamers who have spent thousands of dollars on a high-end PC will get the 4K gaming experience as well, according to Express.

Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio is so powerful that the tech monster has recently slapped at Sony's PS4 Pro console, claiming that Sony's latest console won't be able to handle a true 4K and that the Xbox Scorpio is aiming higher.

Furthermore, the Xbox Project Scorpio is said to be packed with 6 teraflops of capacity, along with an 8-core CPU with more than 230GB of memory. This will enable Xbox Scorpio to run games in native 4K without showing any visual compromises. The powerful components of Xbox Scorpio would also allow the console to deliver a high-fidelity virtual reality.

That being said, the Redmond-based tech company first announced the Xbox Scorpio in E3 2016 conference in June. Microsoft hasn't revealed specific details about the Scorpio since then, regardless of how, Microsoft will be throwing in more information about the Xbox Scorpio soon, GameSpot has learned.
