Is Galaxy On7 Pro better than Redmi Note 3? How do they compare? Check out the review!

Galaxy On7 Pro vs Redmi Note 3: Design and build

Both flagships sport 5.5-inch screen but Redmi Note 3 has a larger display due to higher percentage of screen-to-body ratio.

Galaxy On7 Pro display is a bit disappointing with the lack of AMOLED screen and a low pixel density of 267 ppi, as listed in GSM Arena. Redmi Note 3, on the other hand, has sharper screen display due to its higher pixel resolutions and pixel density of 403.

On7 Pro is encased with plastic chassis whilst Redmi Note 3 already rocks in a metal body.

Galaxy On7 Pro vs Redmi Note 3: Tech specs

Galaxy On7 Pro is ahead of Redmi Note 3 when it comes to the operating system. The latter still tastes Lollipop whereas On7 Pro already runs Marshmallow OS. However, this isn't an issue for Redmi Note 3 since it packs more punch with its tech specs.

Under the hood of Note 3, there is a Snapdragon 650 chipset which offers a faster performance than an outdated Snapdragon 410 in Galaxy On7 Pro.

It is fair to compare Redmi Note 3 standard variant with Galaxy On7 Pro as both have 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM. However, Xiaomi offers more options by adding a higher-end Redmi Note 3 with 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM.

The TouchWiz and MIUI 8 are custom skins that bring different Android experience. MIUI 8 is in Alpha due to its performance and useful features according to Phonebunch. Compared to Samsung's TouchWiz, Xiaomi's own UI is more customizable.

If users prefer bloatware-free, pure Android experience, then Moto E3 Power can be a good choice.

Redmi Note 3 comes with 4050 mAh battery with fast-charging feature. Galaxy On7 Pro packs lower capacity with 3,000 mAh battery.
