‘Pokémon Sun and Moon’ News: Sun and Moon Will Be A Pokemon Game Changer To The Series On 3DS [VIDEO]

Although "Pokémon Go" is heading into a period of natural decline due to winter descends on many of the video game's main regions, even so, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will set out as a game changer as it can be played at home.

As weather technically affects the gameplay of "Pokémon Go," Pokémon Sun and Moon" come in for the rescue. Pokémon Sun and Moon" can be played without walking around places, and the game is perfect for being a passenger in a car, bus, or in a plane, Forbes reported.

Anyway, the Japanese video game developer Game Freak aims to change the franchise without changing the way it works, and the best that Game Freak has done with that to-date is with Sun and Moon. In spite of that, at its core, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" are still Pokémon, nevertheless, Sun and Moon represent the huge tweaks for the Pokémon series since the transition to 3D.

With that, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will no longer offer Gyms, but the video games will have Trials to deal with, each of the Trials will have its own spot with its own themes. Some of these trials are boiled down and specific, sort of like "Pokémon Go's" Gyms, while some are more general, Tech Crunch has learned.

Moreover, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" gamers won't earn badges, though these gamers will earn Z-Crystals, and they won't battle rows of trainers for huge experience level ups. Trials are still a powerful refuge for experience, but these trials are not in the way Gyms were, according to Techno Buffalo.

That being said, Pokémon Sun and Moon" were always going to be a sensation, as early reports pointed out that the video games can speak for itself. In spite of that, "Pokémon Go's" insane success is going to help boost the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" games to a new level.
