5 Things Why Android 7.1 Nougat in Nexus 6P is Better than Apple iOS 10 in iPhone 7 [VIDEO]

Nexus 6P is one of the top-tier smartphones that is well-received by the recent generation. Many are claiming that Nexus 6P is at its best most especially when it runs the Android 7.1 Nougat as it becomes better than iPhone that runs on Apple iOS 10. 

The following reasons show why Nexus 6P that runs the latest version of Android OS has become the best:

App Shortcuts

Similar to the 3D Touch feature of iOS 9, App shortcuts enable the users to use the app in a quick manner by just pressing and holding the app. According to Digital Trends, app shortcut feature can hold up to five applications at a time.

Power Cycling

Android 7.1 Nougat has introduced a new restart setting in the power menu. Power cycling is an innovative way of restarting the phone without having to turn it off by just pressing and holding the power button on Nexus 6p and Nexus 5X handsets for example.

Gestures

The most convenience way to use the app by not having to access the menu is the gestures. For example, the camera app can be launched through pressing the power button twice, double twisting the wrist to turn on and off the selfie mode and putting the phone to life just to check the notifications.

Multi-Window Support   

One of the most notable features of Android 7.1 Nougat is running several apps simultaneously or called the multi-window support. According to Gotta Be Mobile, to be able to activate the feature, user need to tap the square recent apps menu then put any app on the top.

Better Emoji Support

It's worth mentioning that Android 7.0 Nougat has more Emoji compared to Apple iOS and it is continued to Android 7.1 Nougat where Emoji support is overwhelming. Dozens of women Emoji have been added to show support for gender equality; single, multi and two daddies family Emoji options are available with Android 7.1 Nougat update.
