Every other year, the largest companies in the automotive industry come to Paris to show off their latest cars, as well as technological innovations and product roadmap, and this year's motor show was the same as usual.

During the Paris Motor Show 2016, countless car manufacturers and automotive companies came to the exhibition center in Paris, France, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The Lexus UX Concept

The Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ debuts the beginning of a new platform for the German automobile company's electric cars. The Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ concept utilizes what may be the new normal for higher-end EVs, Extreme Tech reported.

Volkswagen I.D.

The Volkswagen automaker company is causing an excitement to car enthusiasts with their 100 percent electric concept car with a record-breaking range of 373 miles. The Volkswagen I.D. boasts a highly original design and an immense lounge style interior, based on the report of CTV News.

Honda Civic Type R

Honda Motor Company brought its new Civic Type R prototype to the Paris Motor Show 2016. The new Civic Type R stands out with the car's carbon fiber side skirts and splitter, and its triple-pipe exhaust. Honda's mean machine also comes along with a smoked glass headlights and LED indicators.

BMW Concept X2

BMW plans to add another premium subcompact SUV, the BMW X2, to the company's existing lineup. BMW is squeezing a model in between the X1 and the more upright BMW X3.
