Google’s Upcoming Pixel & Pixel XL Would Not Be A Powerhouse Google Devices, But With High Prices

By

When tech fans heard information that Google's upcoming new Nexus phones wouldn't actually be Nexus phones at all, speculations were out of control. But, as the Pixel smartphones would be designed by the tech company like its Pixel-brand Chromebooks, some Android fans hoped that Google's new Pixel smartphones would be powerhouse gadgets.

As tech fans hit on social networks hoping that Google's Pixel and Pixel XL would be powerhouse Google devices, a new leak, put forward for consideration that won't be the case, based on the report of BGR.

But, people won't know until the tech company unveils its new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, and that reportedly isn't going to happen until next month. In the meantime, leaks continue to picture out of what tech fans can expect from Google's next-generation pure Android handsets.

Unfortunately, leaks were not all good, aside from the fact that Google's Pixel and Pixel XL look a bit ugly in the renders people have seen so far, it now appears as though these upcoming devices won't offer the top-of-the-line performance many tech fans had been hoping for.

However, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that the tech company would be more opinionated about the design of the smartphones, and the CEO made it known that they would add more features on top of Android on Nexus phones, according to The Verge.

On the other hand, assuming that Google will tie up the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones with Verizon Wireless, speculations came out claiming that the Pixel duo will have higher prices, Droid Life reported.

For instance, the previous type of pricing that accompanies a Google smartphone launch with Verizon, the Galaxy Nexus, was priced at $299 which was quite high for the time.

The other example of Verizon selling a Google device came two years ago with the Nexus 6, which was priced at $649.
