‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Air Date, Spoiler & Update: Daario Naharis, Daenerys Targaryen Reunite?; Returning Characters Revealed?

By

Fans that ship Daario Naharis and Daenerys Targaryen were probably heartbroken when the Mother of Dragons decided to leave her lover in Meereen, instead of sailing with him to Westeros. The question now is, will Michael Huisman return for "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

Huisman did not dish out the details about his return to the award-winning fantasy series; however, Huisman told about his character's fate on the show to Radio Times that "Well, we don't know!"

"I can't saying anything about that," he added.

In another interview with ET Online, Huisman did reveal that he knows whether his character is returning or not.

Given the circumstances, it seems unlikely that Daario and Daenerys will reunite, considering the latter is probably looking for a match that would strengthen her campaign for the throne. Though a mighty warrior, Daario does not have the pedigree or the army to contribute. Perhaps, he may be able to help Daenerys in some other way, but a romantic reunion between the two seems off the table for now.

In the meantime, filming for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is underway in Belfast where many cast members have been spotted.

One of Daenerys lovers, Jorah Mormont, will return in the seventh season, plus Iain Glen was also spotted in Belfast. The last time we saw the character was when Daenerys ordered him to find a cure for his Grayscale, and once he does, only then can he return to her. So perhaps, Jorah's character has completed his quest and is now bound for Westeros.

Watchers on the Wall also reported that Joe Dempsie, who plays long lost character Gendry, was seen at Belfast airport. Gendry was last seen in "Game of Thrones" Season 3 on a boat on his way to Davos.

Gendry's return has sparked excitement among fans, especially since he is a known member of the Brotherhood Without Banners, led by Lady Stoneheart a.k.a the zombie-like version of Catelyn Stark. Interestingly, he is the bastard son of former King Robert Baratheon, which means he's another viable heir to the Iron Throne.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is set to premiere in the summer of 2017 on HBO.
