Apple "MacBook Pro 2016" and "Microsoft Surface Pro 5" predecessors are the next generation laptops that set the bar high when it comes to performance. l The two newest laptop flagships of tech giants will share the same processor - Intel Kaby Lake. The 7th generation chip set of Intel will be available in 2017; does it mean that the two rumored laptops will be release on the same year?

University Herald previously reported about the cause of "MacBook Pro 2016" delay in launching where Apple is waiting for the availability of Intel Kaby Lake processor in 2017. For that matter, the next generation laptop of the Cupertino-based company is rumored to be released by next year.

Furthermore, "Microsoft Surface Pro 5" is also slated to debut in 2017 and is expected to come out with the same processor Apple is waiting for according to Yibada. Aside from the rumored chipset, Windows 10 Redstone 2 is speculated to run the Surface Pro 5 but it will be released in the spring of 2017.

For this reason, the release date of the processor supports the claim that the two laptops will be released in 2017.

On the other hand, a head to head comparison between the two laptops predecessors MacBook Pro vs Surface Book will give everyone idea as to which among the newest laptops is a great buy. Trusted Reviews revealed that Surface Pro has better specs when it comes to display for sporting a 3,000 x 2,000 resolution compared to 2,560 x 1,600 of MacBook Pro. In terms of power and connectivity, Surface Pro is ahead because of 8GB and 16GB 6th Intel generation i5/i7 built with NVIDIA GeForce GPU.  In conclusion, the same report said that Surface Pro is the MacBook in the world of Windows.
