New ‘Pokemon GO’ Cheats: Niantic Get Rid of iOS Jailbroken Devices; Players Found Another Cheat Using ‘Pokemon GO Plus’!

By

Niantic is taking a firm stand to get rid of cheaters most especially those players who use Jailbroken devices through their newest update. However, players continue to challenge the "Pokemon GO" developer and hinted another way to cheat using "Pokemon GO Plus device". How is this possible?

BGR reported about the latest move of Niantic in combating cheating. The tech giant has recently released its Pokemon GO latest update version0.3.7 for Android and version 1.7.0 for iPhone. This update won't do any good to the cheaters most especially when they are using rooted or Jailbroken devices just to cheat in the game. On the other hand, this works well to the honest and fair ones.

Alongside this new update is the introduction of the new Buddy Feature and support for the Pokemon GO Plus device which is rumored to be one of the means used by other players in cheating as reported by Yibada. This information was gathered from Reddit where players talked about the lapses of Niantic for not finding about the loopholes in the Pokemon GO Plus that is use by hackers to cheat in the game. This news is resonant to the Sony PlayStation Portable hacking incident when hackers eventually found a way to access the kernel through PlayStation Vita.

As of now, there are still no verified claims and steps on how to cheat using "Pokemon GO Plus" but in any case, it will surely flood the internet. For the meantime, the world is witnessing how active players of Pokemon GO would react on the new updates. Will it affect the numbers of the active players?

It's worth mentioning that when Niantic released Pokemon GO in July, it has come with lots of loopholes that eventually led to glitches in the game. However, as time passes by, Niantic is slowly patching down the holes to avoid cheaters and encourage everybody to play fair even it means losing great amount of revenue from their end.
