LG tends to design V20 in a safe way but it does feel more premium then the predecessor -pairing metal clad with stainless steel rails. And due to the polycarbonate material, the LG V20 is shock-resistant. The smartphone maker claims that its handset can withstand four foot drop. V20 sports 5.7-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and 513 ppi pixel density, GSM Arena reported.

LG V20 specs review: hadware and software

The first smartphone that gets Android Nougat out of the box offers various functionalities. However, feature like split screen may not be a new thing for LG. V20 is a VR-ready, powerful smartphone with quad-core, Snapdragon 820 under the hood, paired with Adreno 530.

Plus, it's got a spacious RAM of 4 GB, with internal storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB. Memory expansion can be placed in a dedicated slot, up to 256 GB.

LG V20 packs dual lens camera, 16 MP and 8 MP, equipped with laser and phase detection auto focus, dual LED Flash and OIS. The rear camera gets juicy features, including the manual ISO, frame rate controls. The selfie shooter gets 5 MP.

The flagship is powered by removable battery of 3200 mAh, with turbo-charging feature. LG V20 is rich in multimedia features. With stereo sound recording, it can shoot video steadily (2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, and 720p@120fps). Not to mention the various filters to spice up the results. This is especially great for videography enthusiasts. It also packs three microphones with noise cancelation feature - allowing high quality, studio-like audio.
