Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Launches In India For $895; 6GB RAM Version China Offer Only?

By

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone was launched in India  during a New Delhi event. Offered at INR 59,900 or $895, the device will available on Sept. 2. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB and 128GB of internal storage, on the other hand  may hit China around the same date.

Samsung notes that the new device brings several upgrades from a faster and more adept processor to a better GPU, GSM Arena reported. Samsung recently claimed that  Samsung Galaxy Note 7's CPU is 31 percent more powerful than the predecessor, while its GPU is 58 percent more capable. However, a number of customers were disappointed upon receiving the handset packs with only 4GB of RAM instead of the expected device with 6GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 models in 6GB and 128GB of RAM were spotted on GeekBench, which gave hints that it may be heading only to China, Phone Arena reported. This created expectations from consumers that Samsung will indeed release the device with 6GB and 128GB storage capacity.

However, Samsung has not made any confirmation about the increase in the device storage capacity. If the smartphone manufacturer will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB and 128GB of RAM in China, customers may hope that the same model will also be released in other regions sooner.

Meanwhile, smartphone users prefer a higher internal storage capacity for an uninterrupted user experience when performing a number of tasks. It is important to note that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 4GB of internal storage is fast enough to offer a seamless mobile phone experience.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 4GB  and 64GB of internal storage will sell at 5,688 yuan in China or $854. Speculations arise that if Samsung will indeed release a 6GB RAM model, the device will have a slightly higher price tag, which may be around 6,088 yuan or $914. Latest rumors also suggest that pre-orders of the 6GB version starts on Aug. 26 before it actually arrives in China on Sept. 2. Watch Samsung Galaxy Note 7's official introduction video here.
