Huawei Honor Note 8 Release Date, Spec, Features And Price; The Devices Packs A Fingerprint Sensor, Bezel Less Display And More!
Huawei is all set to take the wraps off its brand-new phablet from the Honor series today at Huawei Exhibition Center in Beijing, China. The device boasts a mammoth 6.6-inch screen with 1440x2560 Quad HD display technology.
After unveiling its hybrid phablet, the Chinese tech firm will now concentrate on the impending release of its latest smartphone, the Huawei Honor 8. The much-awaited handset is slated to come out in the U.S. on August 16. Huawei will reportedly adjust the level of competition as soon as the Honor 8 hits the store shelves with an array of awe-inspiring features and specs.
The Huawei Honor Note 8 is already equipped with an FCC certification which enables it to compete with some of the top-notch smartphones in the U.S. market today. The device will boast a 5.2-inch FHD panel packed with full HD display. It will be powered by Kirin 950 processor coupled with either 3 or 4 GB of RAM, Phones Review reported last week.
The Huawei Honor line has grabbed a lot of attention lately citing its cutting-edge specifications at an unbelievably cheaper price as compared to some of the leading manufacturers in the market. The imminent Huawei Honor Note 8 is expected to be no different.
Just days ahead of its official launch, a slew of press renders of the Honor Note 8 were leaked by Android Pure (the images were posted on Chinese social network, Weibo).
The images clearly showed the device will come with a fingerprint sensor and a bezel less display. The leak further confirms that Honor Note 8 will feature a Super AMOLED screen with 105% NTSC color gamut and 70000:1. The Honor Note 8 will be available with a 6.6-inch 2K display, 2560 x 1440 pixels with pixel density of 443 ppi.
The device will be powered by Huawei's Kirin 955; an octa-core processor (16nm chipset) coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. In terms of storage, it will come with 64 GB of storage and a 13 MP rear camera which packs an f/2.0 aperture, an RGBW sensor and supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
The phablet will reportedly be sold for a price tag starting $300 and is slated to be unveiled Monday, August 1.
