E3 Conference 2016 Update: ‘Saints Row’ Developer Reveals ‘Agent’s of Mayhem; Previews New Game Expansion, Trailer [VIDEO]

Finally, Volition is back at E3 with a new project - the "Agents of Mayhem!" This new game is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017. As follow up to its Saints Row releases, "Saints Row IV's upgraded version and the separate expansion "Gat Out of Hell," Volition is now introducing a new property. While sharing a universe with "Saints Row," "Agents of Mayhem" will still feature its own unique comic-book-style characters and plotlines, Venture Beat reported.

Volition and publisher Deep Silver are boasting the game now as a $99.6 billion-worth gaming industry and plabs to come together in Los Angeles next week for the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 (E3 2016) trade show.

Agents of Mayhem, whose agency is the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds, will feature superheroes. The story goes around a crew of super agents who must overtake the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations or the LEGION, Engadget reported. The gameplay will be set in Seoul or "The City of Tomorrow." Expect an open-world action with players swapping between a team of mega powerful agents who are virtually as destructive as the evil alliance they are trying to end.

Volition is showing off three main characters, namely: Fortune, Hollywood and Hardtack. Here are bits of information about the characters; Fortune is a Brazilian short-range specialist carrying dual energy pistols. Hollywood is an assault guy who is bets from medium range. Lastly, Hardtack has a harpoon and great in close quarters. Players can instantly swap between the characters to engage in certain challenges with the best hero fit for the job, VB added.
