The Oklahoma Sooners (7) may have the best chance at usurping Oklahoma State for the Big 12 lead with just two games left to go, but they are taking on a TCU Horned Frogs (18) that cannot afford to lose.

TCU has the most outside chance to win the Big 12, as they need to beat Oklahoma and Baylor and hope Oklahoma State loses this week and next. For Oklahoma, their path to being named Big 12 champs and potentially a College Football Playoff (CFP) team is simple, beat TCU and beat Oklahoma State.

With 331.2 passing yards per game and 214.3 rushing yards per game, Oklahoma boasts a balanced offensive attack, yet neither figure can match those of TCU's. But the Sooners' proved by beating Baylor they can manage explosive offenses by controlling the ball and limiting mistakes.

TCU may not even make the CFP if they somehow win the Big 12, and they may be without quarterback Trevone Boykin and wide receiver Josh Doctson, both of whom will be game-time decisions. Despite such slim chances, the Frogs know what they have to do.

"This group will battle," TCU head coach Gary Patterson said in his weekly press conference. "They'll play hard the next two weeks. So don't get any indication I'm all set to throw in the towel 'cause that's not going to happen."
