One of the top power forwards in the class of 2016, Juwan Durham committed to the University of Connecticut.
Durham did not play over the spring or summer due to a torn ACL, which his AAU basketball coach, Jordan Fair, indicated contributed to UConn's ability to recruit the Tampa, Fla. native. He had offers from Florida, South Florida, and Florida State, but was also interested in schools like Duke, Butler, and Louisville, according to ESPN.
This was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made but I'd like to announce that I will be committing to the University of Connecticut
