Terrance Ferguson had offers from all over the nation, including some of the best basketball programs in the nation, but he went with Alabama and its newly hired coach Avery Johnson.

Hailing from Tulsa, Okla. and living in Dallas, Texas, Ferguson was deep in Big 12 country and had offers from Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, ESPN reported. However, schools from both coasts and in between were beckoning as well.
