Kentucky vs LSU Live Radio Broadcast, Preview: Wildcats Visit Tigers 2 Wins From School-Best Mark
ByThe Kentucky Wildcats (1) are on an impressive quest to go undefeated, but they still have yet to pass their own all-time best start as they visit the LSU Tigers.
Kentucky needs to beat LSU on the road Tuesday night and then South Carolina at home on Saturday to match their previous record. Those two games included, the Wildcats have eight games left in the regular season.

At 23-0 and more than halfway through their SEC schedule, Kentucky coach John Calipari knows fatigue could well set in for his players. According to the Associated Press, he described his team's stamina in a teleconference as "typical [for] this time of year."
"Our season was stretched out a little bit. [It] started down in the Bahamas and so it's a long year," he said. "[And] we're trying to do this without Trey [Lyles]. We're basically holding down the fort without Trey."
Lyles has been inactive since Kentucky's Jan. 31 game against Alabama, but his absence has not slowed the team down at all.
LSU has beaten Kentucky once in the two teams' last eight games against one another, but that win came last February. To repeat that effort, LSU will need to figure out a way to put pressure on Kentucky's offense.
Sophomore guard Andrew Harrison told reporters in a pregame press conference the Wildcats are used to playing with a target on their backs at this point, the AP reported.
"I think every team really wants to beat us just because we have the No. 1 ranking at the moment and just that bulls-eye on our backs," he said. "I've been trying to tell the team, just take it personal. They're trying to rush the floor on us and everything. Don't let them do that."
