Paul Ramsay, college entertainer and traveling stage hypnotist, has recently finalized a pilot show for reality television.

The show, "Hypnotic," is expected to break the mold of traditional stage hypnotism by letting the audience control the show with remote controls and polling software. Cameras will follow him as he travel from college to college presenting "his exclusive interactive stage hypnosis" in his stage show "Mind Games."

Ramsay is a board certified hypnotist in private practice.  For more than 10 years, he has been entertaining college and high school students as a stage hypnotist.

"I ... want the students to know how hypnosis can help them later in their lives.  I want them to learn how hypnosis can engage the imagination; help them to be more creative, and to learn that they can control their behaviors by learning that they make decisions based on what is emotionally rewarding," Ramsay said. "The show always satisfies the entertainment piece of the puzzle.  The additional take-away is the lasting impression of a thought provocative tool for their future."

During his shows, volunteers are usually hypnotized while still sitting in the audience, "providing an up-close-and-personal experience for all in attendance." The volunteer stage performers react to Ramsay's scenarios which are "created to draw laughter, and engage the crowd.

"Ramsay likes to make the students the stars of the show," spokeswoman Sherry Frazier said in a statement.

The hypnotist is known for quickly engaging the audience volunteers who readily and comically respond to his suggestions. 

"In one performance, a young man believes he is giving birth to a baby; a young woman believes she is Miley Cyrus giving a concert; a group of ten students believe they are auditioning for a movie and act as cowboys and vampires; one student believes he is a superhero named Donut Boy, while another is Donut Boy's arch nemesis: Cholesterol," Frazier said.
