2K Games and WWE have pitched in "WWE 2K18's" initial details, which include platforms, own cover star, release date as well as the pre-order deals. However, the video game company has yet to announce more information about the upcoming professional wrestling video game.

It is a tradition for the professional wrestling video game series to feature a Wrestling legend as pre-order bonus character. The previous titles in the franchise featured The Ultimate Warrior, Bill Goldberg and Sting as exclusive playable character. The "WWE 2K18" will likely come along with the Olympic Gold medalist, Kurt Angle, Cage Side Seats reported.

But, neither 2K Games nor the professional wrestling company has confirmed yet if Angle will be the pre-order bonus' exclusive playable character in the upcoming "WWE 2K18." However, the American professional wrestler Angle made a huge comeback in WWE and was inducted into Wrestlemania 33's Hall of Fame. After which, the Hall of Famer has assumed a role on-screen as Monday Night Raw's general manager.

Meanwhile, a YouTube video trailer revealed the "WWE 2K18" cover of the American professional wrestler, Seth Rollins. Nevertheless, the video game company has yet to fully reveal the roster of the upcoming professional wrestling game. Fans are still expecting on seeing mainstays such as Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and John Cena along with several Superstars who have been with the WWE company for a while, Wrestling Inc reported.

Despite the new additions of the upcoming video game will be introduced this year, some of them may be coming along with the re-established Cruiserweight division. In spite of that, the upcoming professional wrestling video game will fire up on Oct. 17. However, WWE gamers who opt to get either the Collector or Deluxe Edition can avail it on Oct. 13. The "WWE 2K18" will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
