After months of anticipation, Microsoft unveiled its Xbox Project Scorpio gaming system, and the device is officially named Xbox One X. The moniker of Microsoft's Xbox One X comes just days after the tech giant trademarked a mysterious S logo. Nonetheless, Microsoft plans to roll out the Xbox One X console on November 7 across the globe, with a $499 price tag.

Microsoft's new Xbox One X will work with all existing Xbox One accessories, as well as Xbox One games and all existing Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles. The Redmond, Washington based tech titan is said to utilize super sampling on the Xbox One X console to make new titles look better even on 1080p TVs. The Xbox One X will be available on November 7 worldwide, with a $499 price tag, Tech Crunch reported.

The new Xbox One X gaming system will arrive with 6 teraflops of graphical power, which is more than its main rival, Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro with 4.2 teraflops. The tech company is using a custom GPU engine on Xbox One X that runs at 1172MHz, a huge boost over the 853MHz of Xbox One and even the 911MHz on Sony's PS4 Pro. The Xbox One X will also be available with an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive for 4K movies, and 1TB of storage.

Microsoft's new Xbox One X is being touted as the most powerful gaming system ever made, and the tech company claims that it is also the smallest Xbox ever created. However, some of the biggest games revealed for the new Xbox One X so far include the "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds," "Forza Motorsport 7," "State of Decay 2," and the new open-world shooter game "Metro Exodus," Express reported.

Nevertheless, while 4K might be the attraction for Xbox One X, chances are the device might not work out as the company has indicated. Wherein, a 4K monitor is an expensive acquisition.
