Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2017 event is on its way next month. Tech enthusiasts and experts are expecting something huge in this conference, as recently surfaced reports are claiming that the new iMac will be announced. Nonetheless, the iMac 2017 will have more power and have better performance compared to regular computers.

The Cupertino based tech giant is expected to introduce two iMac 2017 variants at the WWDC 2017 event. Reports are claiming that the iMac 2017 variants are designed for creative professionals. The iMac 2017 variants will be more powerful and boast better performance compared to regular computers.

Recently, the tech company made it known that it would seriously take the professional market once more. Apple executives revealed that the tech giant plans to release a high-spec iMac later this year. Software engineering SVP Craig Federighi as well as Marketing head Phil Schiller confirmed that before this year ends, an iMac with specs worthy of a pro name would possibly launch by the tech company, Apple Insider reported.

The tech giant is expected to launch two new iMac 2017 variants, the 27-inch iMac Pro as well as the 21.5-inch iMac 2017. Reports are claiming that the two iMac variants will enter into production this month and will be available in the second half of this year. The official details about the upcoming iMac 2017 is expected to be revealed at the WWDC 2017 event.

Nevertheless, the iMac 2017 is expected to feature a server-grade hardware, which includes the Error Correcting Code (ECC) RAM with up to 64GB. The two new iMac 2017 variants are expected to feature a wireless keyboard, thunderbolt 3/USB Type-C ports, as well as a Touch Bar and Touch ID functionality. Also, the two new iMac 2017 variants are anticipated to be equipped with the latest discrete graphics card, an Intel server chip Xeon E3-1285 v6 and up to 2TB of NVMe SSD, Mobi Picker reported.
