Xbox head Phil Spencer once again reassured game enthusiasts that the development of the upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio is still on track with its projected release. Meanwhile, LucidSound, a third-party gaming audio accessory maker, officially announced the first compatible headset for Microsoft's upcoming console.
The Xbox boss Spencer is known for providing answers to game enthusiasts' questions by means of a social media interactions. Recently, one of Spencer's Twitter followers wanted to know if there is a change in the launch date of the Xbox Project Scorpio, to which the Xbox head replied that the schedule has no issues.
The release date of the highly anticipated Xbox Project Scorpio has been slated in 2017 holiday season. Considering Spencer's update, 4K gaming fans could be having a competitive gaming system before 2017 ends. Nevertheless, Microsoft's upcoming gaming console will boast native 4K support for select video games, Express reported.
In spite of that, since the announcement of Xbox Project Scorpio during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 event, the Redmond, Washington based tech titan has promised that Xbox Project Scorpio's main goal is to deliver a gaming experience with video games running natively at 4K.
On the other hand, although Microsoft has yet to unveil the actual unit of the upcoming console, LucidSound officially announced the first compatible headset (LS35X Wireless Gaming Headset) for the Xbox Project Scorpio. In LucidSound's press release, the new LS35X Wireless Gaming Headset will be the first gaming headset that connects directly to Xbox One gaming systems, such as the Xbox Project Scorpio. The headset can be used without cables and base station.
The new LS35X Wireless Gaming Headset can also work with PCs. However, gamers who will use the headset on their PCs will have to use an Xbox Wireless Adapter. Also, the LS35X wireless headset will come along with several technical features that are designed to provide the best gaming experience.
