Smartphone enthusiasts who have been waiting for the highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Phone might have something to cheer about. Microsoft's upcoming Surface Phone might be available with an extraordinary design. The Microsoft Surface Phone is said to be an iPhone killer.

While multiple reports have been suggesting that the Microsoft Surface Phone might not even see the light of day, the tech giant's chief executive Satya Nadella have debunked these indications as Nadella confirmed in an interview that the company is indeed working on the device. The only catch is that the Microsoft Surface Phone will have a remarkable design and it could be an iPhone killer. The Redmond, Washington based tech titan is said to make a major design overhaul on the Microsoft Surface Phone, BGR reported.

Nonetheless, some reports are claiming that the much-awaited Surface Phone will come along with a Fusion Camera. The Fusion Camera can create 3D models and Hololens. Also, the tech giant will try to turn its Windows phones into mini-PC with its Continuum project. Smartphone enthusiasts are expecting that Microsoft's upcoming device will be a semi-desktop computer, Indian Express reported.

University Herald recently reported that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor. Microsoft Surface Phone may even run the Windows 10 mobile's 64-bit version. The Microsoft Surface Phone is anticipated to support an external keyboard and mouse, giving tech fans a complete desktop experience. 

Meanwhile, if the Surface Laptop wasn't enough, the tech giant is going to announce new hardwares once again at an event in Shanghai on May 23. Microsoft might launch the new Surface Book, Microsoft Surface Pro 5, a refresh Surface Studio PC, or even the Surface Phone. Microsoft's VP of devices, Panos Panay, teased the Shanghai event in an Instagram photo and in a tweet, Trusted Reviews reported.
