Google's upcoming flagship smartphone, dubbed as Google Pixel 2, is already making a buzz in the internet despite not being officially announced. Numerous reports are anticipating what specs and features Google Pixel 2 will come packed with. Also, the tech giant might unleash three Google Pixel 2 models this year.

The next-gen Google Pixel devices are expected to be up for grabs in the fourth quarter of 2017. Reports are claiming that the search engine titan is now busy working on the three upcoming Google Pixel 2 variants. The upcoming Google Pixel 2 handsets are believed to come in code names, the Taimen, Walleye and Muskie. The new Google Pixel 2017 devices will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, which is the semiconductor company's latest offering released along with Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, Blasting News reported.

The 2017 Google Pixel Taimen is said to be much bigger than the Muskie, Walleye, as well as the Pixel and Pixel XL devices. The Pixel 2 basic model will be dubbed as the Walleye, while the bigger variant will be the Muskie. Meanwhile, there are reports that Google has already collaborated with HTC to manufacture the upcoming Google Pixel devices.

Nonetheless, it appears that the Google Pixel 2 devices are ready, reports are suggesting that Google might roll out the devices at the upcoming Google I/O 2017 event. On the contrary, as the search engine company had released the original Pixel and Pixel XL handsets in October last year, some reports claim that Google may launch the upcoming Google Pixel 2 devices in October 2017, Mobi Picker reported.

In spite of that, the Google Pixel 2 smartphone is anticipated to be available with waterproof design, curved sides, and the device might ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. One of the three Google Pixel 2 devices is expected to boast a 6GB of RAM as well as the latest Android O operating system.
