AMD Ryzen is changing the gaming landscape after introducing its own lineup of eight-core processors all selling hot at very low prices. However, the Ryzen architecture seems to be far-fetched at the moment since it will take a time to reveal the bigger picture. But AMD knows how to please its loyal retainers and the rest of the gaming empire, TomsHardware reported.

AMD Ryzen processors have received new power-saving plan and game patch to ease difficulties and potential glitch overtime. These are helpful updates that will bring the Ryzen architecture to a better place and recognition in the future.

This AMD Ryzen update will deal with voltage and frequency rating for energy conservation. Gamers usually face several pre-defined voltage and P-States or frequency settings in their processors. Reduced performance occurs during gaming sessions and when the application catches the CPU sleeping.

Thus, AMD brings new Ryzen Balanced power plan by reducing timers and thresholds for P-state transitions. This improves performance and yields similar performance to the Windows high-performance power profile.

The Ryzen Balanced plan is downloadable through this AMD Community Blog post. In addition, this power plan still permits aggressive power management and is on par with the High-Performance plan. Since this sound new, AMD expects feedback from users.

Secondly, AMD Ryzen also receives 1080p game performance updates. This is the follow from the previous community post from AMD. AMD Ryzen optimizations are finally available for "Total War: WARHAMMER" partnered by the game's new "Bretonnia" patch which is now available on Steam.
