The family of University of Houston student An Vinh Nguyen, 27, is continuing to look for answers after he went missing on Mar. 31. He was last seen in northwest Harris County.

Nguyen's family said that he left a friend's home at the Golden Bamboo II Apartments at 8125 Mills Road in the Willowbrook area. His friends confirmed that he said he was heading home to finish a paper for school.

ABC13 reported that Nguyen is a student at the UH Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. The drive should not have taken more than 15 minutes.

Loc Nguyen, the brother of the missing person, said that Nguyen's disappearance has left their family in agony. Their grandma was said to have cried every day since the University of Houston student went missing.

Loc added that his brother's calendar showed that he had a paper due on Saturday. The 27-year-old student also scheduled a trip to Florida for Sunday.

Recently, he booked a flight to Fort Lauderdale. Nguyen was also preparing for an interview with Spirit Airlines for a flight attendant job. The paperwork and the suit he bought were untouched.

An Vinh Nguyen was wearing a light yellow t-shirt during the time he was last seen. He was also driving an orange 2016 Jeep Renegade with a Texas license plate HJB-5077. He is described as having short black hair, brown eyes, stands 5'6" tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

According to Chron, the UH student is dependable but his phone was off when they tried to call him. His car also did not have a tracking device. The back door of the car is dented. Anyone who has information is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office at (713) 755-7427 or Texas EquuSearch at (281) 309-9500.

Bobby Johnson, whom Nguyen was visiting when he was last seen, said that the student came to his apartment on Friday night to work on something for school. An Vihn left his house at around 10:30 p.m.
