As new graduates enter the workforce this year, a lot of them would love to keep their college routines like traveling with friends. As a matter of fact, people are now looking for jobs that would allow them to be outdoors. As tourism becomes even more popular, how about combining work and travel at the same time?
From serving drinks to defending the country, there are a lot of jobs that allow employees to travel for free. May it be by land or by sea, industrial age is gradually coming to an end. Below are some of the best jobs that offer high salaries and great experiences.
For one thing, fresh graduates would have a variety of choices when they apply to cruise ships. From front desk clerks to disk jockeys and bartenders to aerobics instructors, life at sea provides so many opportunities. Moreover, sea workers are paid by the hour, earning an average monthly income of $1,200 to $1, 500. Board and lodging also come for free (most of the time).
Basically, flight attendants spend most of their work hours on airplanes, both domestic and international. Just do the job well, like serving food and drinks, and get the unlimited travel. Those with customer service experiences and Tourism graduates are often priorities. The job offers a whopping $44,860 for an average annual salary, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Of course, they get to see the most beautiful landmarks on Earth. However, the more fun part of this job is that they also get the chance to share information to others. In this way, tourists could appreciate the place so much better. Per Money, all expenses during foreign tour guiding orders are paid, aside from the $14.64 rate per hour. While applicants do not need to be degree holders, they should fluent in at least three languages.
Other jobs that offer work and travel at the same time include Airline Pilots, with an annual salary of about $102, 520. Military personnel also have a monthly salary of around $1,480 plus trips to anywhere in 800 bases in more than 70 countries. Interestingly, CIA Spies also get trips around the world with a median yearly rate of $49, 861. Well, these are jobs in the "hot zones" so per Forbes, one of the safest travel and work options - which is also in demand for 2017 - is found in business.
