Game developer Falcom has recently revealed new information of "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III's" prologue. They also revealed details on several key characters involved in the game.

The game developer shared in the official website of "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" that the former Crossbell autonomous region has now become the Crossbell State. This happened after the Empire annexed the region during the previous game titles. Tensions in the annexed region have not subsided yet even though its function as a center of trade and finance is gradually being restored.

In "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III," the Empire establishes the Thors Military Academy Second School, which was created to form full-fledged officers of the Imperial army. The students who joined in are nobility, foreigners, natives of Crossbell, and some who were active in the Civil War. It has six classes, named Platoon I to Platoon VI.

The new school also has three additional courses added, which are Platoon VII to Platoon IX. Platoon VII is for the Special Affairs Department, Platoon VIII for the Tactics Department, and Platoon IX for the Accounting Department. The hero Rean Schwarzer teaches Platoon VII as an instructor.

"The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" characters

Falcom revealed the details of several characters involved in "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" in another post on its official website. Rean Schwarzer is 20 years old and uses a long sword as his primary weapon in battle. He contributed his services to the Erebonian Empire civil war, and also became a hero in the Empire known as the Ashen Chevalier.

Juna Crawford is 17 years old and uses a gun breaker, which is a tonfa-and-gun combination that can strike and shoot. She successful enters the police academy, but her dreams were crushed when the Crossbell region was occupied by the Erebonian Empire. She was invited by a certain person to join the new school in order to clarify the current condition of the Empire.

Kurt Vander is also 17 years old and uses big dual swords in combat. He is a smart, handsome young man of the Vander family, which is known to be a military family of the Empire. He has bluish-gray hair, which is unusual among his family members, but he possesses masterful skills in dual swordsmanship.

Altina Orion looks 14 years old, but it is not for certain currently, and uses the Claimh=Solais weapon. She is known in the Imperial Intelligence Agency with her code name Black Rabbit, and her lack of emotion. Her weapon is a state-of-the-art combat shell, and her special work during the civil war was getting involved as a fake who deceived the Noble Alliance.
