Benchmark results have already proven that AMD Ryzen is more reliable than Intel Kaby Lake chipsets. Now, the latest test done with NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti with the both chipsets has put AMD in the losing end and  declares Intel as the new champion in gaming.

Kaby Lake vs Zen

Intel is reportedly having no match to the chipsets of AMD called Ryzen based on the company's new Zen microarchitecture, the follow-up to the six-year old sizeable Bulldozer. Ryzen chips are available in three options 1700 ($330), 1700x ($400) and 1800x ($500) which are relatively costly compared to Kaby Lakes' Core i7-series chipsets.

When it comes to performance, Intel Kaby Lake chipsets are reportedly slacking most particularly in 3D image rendering. According to Gizmodo, Intel's best Kaby Lake CPU the i7-7700K is left behind Ryzen 1800x in rendering 3D images in the game Rise of the Tomb Raider.

What's more interesting is that, despite the fact that Ryzen 1800x is way costly than Intel Core i7-7700K of $150, the former 's performance is nearly twice faster than the latter's even in the 3D images rendering in Blender and videos in Handbrake. To conclude, the three AMD Ryzen chipsets possess both performance and power but way too affordable.

GTX 1080 Ti Test with AMD Ryzen and Intel Kaby Lake

NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, hailed as the world's fastest desktop consumer graphics card has reportedly tested on both AMD Ryzen and Intel Kaby Lake chipsets. The result suggests that Intel has produced an average frame rate of 22 percent higher than AMD platform thus, it is concluded that NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti and Intel Core i7-7700K would be a perfect match for gaming laptops, HardOCP reported.

On the other hand, the 14-inch Razer Blade laptop is reportedly getting a Kaby Lake processor for the 2017 upgrade. According to The Verge, with $100 additional laptop's price, the player can enjoy the benefits of 2.8GHz Core i7 and NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB internal storage and 1080p display resolution.
