Looking over the mobile device roster of Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is at the top of the heap. At the moment, the phablet comes in three color schemes – black, silver, and gold. Recent leaks hint that a fourth color hue may be joining the mix.

The leaked images come from a Weibo user (@ Zheng Shaoyou Janice) via MyDrivers.com, showing off a Cherry Pink colored Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Before getting all excited, there is a chance that the leaked images may be fake. The image is suspect so it may be best to wait for an official announcement from the Chinese company.

Assuming that it is authentic, the pink variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 should be something for the ones who place a premium on color preference. If true, it will likely make its way out in the Chinese market. As far as possible availability in other regions, such remains to be seen, GSM Arena reported.

Either way, the pink variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is something that should satisfy from the outside. From within, it is still expected to carry the same features as the other variants. A quick rundown on the specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 includes a 5.7-inch dual-curved screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 23 MP main camera, 8 MP front-facing shooter and a 4070 mAh battery according to Xiaomi Today.

Like previous models, securing a Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is hard to come by since it is always out of stock. Assuming that there is indeed a Xiaomi Mi Note 2 pink variant coming, the added option is welcome but availability once again becomes a concern – especially for the female buyers who are bound to want one. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 costs roughly $404 based on the current exchange rates.
