Samsung Galaxy S8 Leaks Reveal Unusual Feature

Samsung Galaxy S8 appears to be the most anticipated smartphone of the year and it is likely because of the great experience that was offered by its predecessor the Galaxy S7. The 2017 iteration of the Galaxy S-series smartphone is reportedly featuring an unusual feature most specifically on its screen.

Latest rumors about the leaks suggest that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be sporting an unusual screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels with 18.5:9 aspect ratio that deviates from the expected screen size of 5.8-inch according to Gadgets NDTV. The truth about this unusual screen resolution and ratio remain anonymous yet as this is also what is expected from LG G6 that will sport a 5.-inch display with an aspect ratio of 2:1.

On the other hand, an alleged prototype of Samsung Galaxy S8 is also making round in the internet. According to BGR, an artist named Benjamin Geskin has posted an image of the device's render he made based on the Galaxy S8 image posted by Evan Blass weeks ago which appears to be the closest to the most anticipated appearance of the phone.

In the leaked image, a dedicated button for Bixby and fingerprint scanner located in the back is spotted. Also, the image revealed a bezel-less and dual edge display at the front where the single camera is also located.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date

Samsung has been vocal about not unveiling the Galaxy S8 during MWC 2017. However, according to some reports, the South Korean tech is expected to unveil the flagship smartphone in March 29 on a separate event while the launching will follow in mid-April.
