Though Apple has kept pricing unchanged in entry-level models, the iPhone 8, with all its new innovations and features, could get a price bump more than the iPhone 7 Plus. Moreover, the concept art by Handy Abovergleich reveals a stunning design reportedly a close match to previous reports and rumors about the phone's design.

Apple will be announcing its sales report for December quarter and analysts are expecting increased sales of its current flagship, the iPhone 7 Plus. An estimated 58.5 million units were most likely sold in the said quarter with 40 percent of the sales from the iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple has employed a new strategy, which is to create a marked difference in specs in the iPhone 7 Plus as compared to the iPhone 7. The iPhone 7 Plus had the better camera and more RAM compared to the iPhone 7. With all these new features and higher specs, Apple opted to bump the price of the iPhone 7 Plus and people were still buying it, BGR reported.

This leads analysts to expect that the iPhone 8 may also get a price bump as the 10th-anniversary offering of the Cupertino giant is set to have a major makeover. The iPhone 8 will reportedly have a new design, with a more improved dual camera as well as the added feature of wireless charging.

Speaking of design, Abovergleich's concept art is setting anticipation and interest high with a new and stunning look of the iPhone 8. The renders are the closest match to previous reports surrounding the latest iteration with its almost bezel-less and curved OLED display, all-glass body and an uninterrupted screen with no physical home button.

The iPhone 8 also known as the iPhone X is expected to be unveiled in September 2017 in time for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. The latest flagship features a whole new design, which is a first for Apple since past iPhone iterations have to remain unaltered. Apple is now taking the drastic move of rethinking the design in order to beat its closest rival, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and to drive up its sales.

If the concept art proves to capture the overall look of the iPhone 8, analysts expect long queues at Apple stores when the handset goes on sale according to Express Online. This could still be true even if the iPhone 8 price tag is the highest to date as seen in the iPhone 7 Plus, which is the star of Apple's December quarter record sales.
