Meet A $780 Linux-Powered Laptop
According to Neowin, the latest device is a $780 Slimbook laptop that comes with pre-installed Linux OS. The full details about this product can be found at the company's official website.

As mentioned by the company's developers on their website, the Slimbook is a laptop which has been tested directly by the company's developers, with the exact same hardware and software configuration that users get.

Hardware Specs, Release Date, And Availability
Currently, the company offered two Slimbook models on their official website. These are the Intel i5 and Intel i7 powered devices, Softpedia reported. Both Slimbook models come with finished aluminum case, a 13.3-inch display with Full HD (1920x1080 pixel resolution) and a whopping 4GB of RAM (up to 16GB when supported).

There's also a backlit keyboard, a 6800 mAh battery along with a 120GB of solid state storage (SSD), and Intel Dual-Band 7265N or 7265AC (optional).

In terms of connectivity, the Slimbook has two USB 3.0 ports, a mini HDMI port, SD, an "external" Ethernet adapter, and support for 802.11n WiFi standard and Bluetooth 4.0 technology.

The laptop, which runs on an Ubuntu-based OS called Neon operating system, measure about 0.7 inches thick and weighs around 3 pounds.

Price starts at $780 USD for the Slimbook Intel i5-powered model and $907 for the KDE Slimbook Intel i7-powered model. In addition to the pricing scheme, the laptop also comes with a 2-year warranty.

Users can pre-order the Slimbook right now from Slimbook official website, but there's some slight problem on the delivery side. According to the company, all Slimbook orders will only ship after March 15, 2017.
