It's the buzz of the entertainment world. Director James Mangold this week showed off via Twitter some intense images of the upcoming "X-Men" spinoff "Logan," in which Hugh Jackman will take what would be his final performance as the Wolverine character.

The upcoming "X-Men" movie "Logan" is the tenth installment in the "X-Men" film series, and the third and final Wolverine solo film following "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and the 2013's hit "The Wolverine."

And it does not just images that "Logan" is sharing on the social media Twitter, Jackman has also recently shared on Twitter the movie's official synopsis.

According to GameSpot, "Logan" will also star Stephen Merchant, Doris Morgado, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Boyd Holbrook, and Richard E. Grant. The first "Logan" trailer was released in October of last year and a final trailer is expected to come soon.

"Logan" director James Mangold has recently responded to those media inquiries about when would be the last trailer revealed. Mangold took his response to Twitter, saying that the date chosen for a final trailer drop are the result of much painstaking corporate planning.

"Logan" will make its premiere at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival next month. It will hit theaters on March 3, 2017, in standard and IMAX format.

Logan As Hugh Jackman's Final Appearance As Wolverine

Jackman recently refuted rumors about the upcoming movie "Logan" being his final appearance in the "X-Men" series. Jackman reportedly explained that he was just inspired by the Michael Keaton's performance in Birdman; and that he wished to portray the Wolverine character its death.

But things are about to change for Wolverine. On 2015, Hugh Jackman has shared a promo picture of himself along with the hashtag #OneLastTime on his Twitter page, teasing his last appearance as Wolverine in the "X-Men" film franchise.

According to HuffingtonPost, the "Logan" image, coupled with the hashtag "#OneLastTime", signified Jackman last Wolverine appearance portraying "Logan" character and officially announcing his decision to stop portraying the Wolverine character, the "X-Men" character he had been portraying for the past 17 years of his life.
